A Community of Responsible Stewards
A variety of projects were completed after our successful capital campaign in 2000. Many of those projects were outlined in the capital campaign case, but others arose unexpectedly or ended up costing more than originally estimated. To supplement funds raised through the capital campaign, a loan was secured from the Broadway Foundation, so that urgent and important capital improvements could be made to the church. While the Foundation monies are part of the church’s assets, that loan must be repaid as soon as possible, and as responsible stewards, it’s our duty to lead that effort with vision and focus.
By folding this need into The Miracle on 29th Street, we are able to take care of all of our immediate financial priorities at one time, rather than conducting campaign after campaign as needs arise.
