Dreamers as Disciples
We share in a wonderful vision for creating new discipleship opportunities – the spiritual foundation of this congregation. Building on Methodist tradition, Broadway's history, and contemporary theology, we envision a number of opportunities for spiritual formation and relationship development. Experiences such as bible studies, covenant groups, and one-on-one conversations will help the people of the Broadway community strengthen their understanding of what it means to be a member of our church and will involve all of us in nurturing and caring for each other.
The Miracle on 29th Street will result in greater numbers of involved members at Broadway. A refocused Pastor for Membership and Discipleship position will be responsible for providing opportunities for each member’s gifts, skills, and talents to be nurtured and encouraged as our community continues to grow and develop. Through the Pastor for Membership and Discipleship, members of Broadway will become closer to each other and to the neighborhood around the church, facilitating a truly interactive community of worshipers and servant leaders.
