How can I participate in The Miracle?

Members of Broadway Church will have the opportunity to participate in The Miracle on 29th Street in the coming months. Each family will receive a personal invitation to consider a financial gift to the campaign.

If you are not yet a member of the Broadway Church family and you’re interested in supporting our innovative and creative partnerships with our neighbors to develop stronger families and a healthier community, please contact Rev. Dr. Rachel Metheny, pastor, by e-mail or telephone at by 317-924-4207.

Ways to Give

Campaign gifts can take a variety of forms with an emphasis on those that can be used immediately.

Cash Pledges – Pledges over time allow donors to consider more substantial commitments than are possible with one-time cash gifts. Donors who pledge may determine pledge payment schedules to meet their own charitable or tax needs.

Appreciated Securities – Gifts of appreciated securities or other marketable assets are welcome. The value of a gift of securities is determined at the time the transfer takes place. A donor can reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes through a gift of appreciated securities. Those wishing to give stock should indicate this to a campaign representative so that the appropriate documentation may be completed.

Other Gift Vehicles – Donations in the form of life insurance, trusts, bequests, real estate, or other assets are welcome. Please contact Scott Semester, Broadway UMC’s Director of Development by e-mail or telephone at 317-924-4207, for additional information or assistance with a gift of this nature.
