Godspell at Broadway:
Important Information:
For all those who expressed an interest in helping with GODSPELL in any way, we have good news regarding performance dates. Instead of just finding an available weekend from our busy church calendar, it has been decided that GODSPELL will be under the auspices of "Broadway Presents" and will accordingly be scheduled within that overall program on the church calendar. Therefore, it is definite now that GODSPELL will be in October with specific dates to be announced soon. I believe this is better for several reasons, the chief one being that we'll not get caught up in the busyness of Spring activities.
So, if you've talked with me expressing interest and you're feeling that you've been left dangling with no definite information, I hope you will understand and will look forward to concrete plans coming forth as we get closer to the time -- when and how to audition, on and behind the scene needs, rehearsal schedules, etc., etc., etc. Thanks, and I pray this production will be a blessing to our church family -- performers and audience!
This Broadway musical is a delightful, up-beat dramatization of the Gospel of Matthew, offering wonderful potential for bringing a unique blessing to both performers and audience.
