Avis: email

Avis has been cooking for 18 years. It all started when he came home one day hungry from school. Avis started looking at the Quaker Oats tube, and checked out the oatmeal cookie recipe. Avis decided not to make the cookies, and instead tried to make a sponge cake. He said he made the sponge cake and it was real spongy. Avis also had flour everywhere and knew that when his dad came home he was going to get in trouble...but it ended up being okay. The next day Avis noticed that all the ingredients for oatmeal cookies were in the kitchen at his home, and he made them. Avis took the cookies over to Madera’s house, a neighbor, and she thought they were pretty great. Pretty soon everyone in the neighborhood had tasted these cookies, and thought the same thing. From there it just spiraled with his mom asking him to cook. Avis has been in the cooking business for years, moving up and doing all kinds of jobs. He spent 5 months in Hawaii on a cruise ship cooking called Pride of Hawaii. Avis has a great mind for what to cook, just ask him! If your not even hungry, he'll soon have your mouth watering because it sounds so delicious! When Avis has a barbecue, he's had over 200 people come because he's such a great cook and leader in the community!
