David:

David is interested in creating an “Oasis” in the empty lots around Mapleton Fall Creek. These “Oasis” would incorporate the old ways of culture, as well as being a serene place for people to visit or meeting places. David spoke of working with many different kids of professionals to complete the “Oasis.” Architects, landscapers, etc. would all be involved. As you walk through you might hear sounds like a waterfall or rainforest, along with the natural elements of nature, like the songs of birds. You would see flowers, fruit trees, teepees, benches, your neighbor, squirrels, and birds. These “Oasis” would be community owned and operated. David has lived in the community his whole life. David not only has a great idea for the community, but he is also a musician, tennis player and teacher, and a spiritual man.
