Musa is retired and is a stay at home grandfather, Thai Chi teacher, bird watcher, and gardener. Musa is a gardener of flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Flowers are placed in Musa’s garden because they have a certain attraction to birds. For example, Musa has placed red flowers and a hummingbird bush in his garden to attract hummingbirds. One vegetable that Musa gardens specifically is broccoli. Gardening to Musa is just a love for the earth. Every vegetable that comes out of Musa’s garden is juiced. Musa teaches Thai Chi at the Martin Luther King Center Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7.
