Rose:

Ms. Rose is from a small town in TN, but has lived in the neighborhood for years raising children and grandchildren! Ms. Rose learned all the great life lessons such as gardening, fishing, mechanical work, canning, etc. which she hopes she has passed on to all of her children so that if they fall on hard times, they will know how to be self-reliant. Ms. Rose’s family still enjoys the values and richness she has brought into their lives, whether it’s her grandson who asks her to specifically plant and raised pepper plants, the grandson who she makes sure has some fresh fish to take home when he visits or the daughter who remembers sweet potatoes Ms. Rose cooked in the fire place.
