Shannon and Chad:

Shannon, Chad and their daughter Isabel recently bought a new home. Shannon is an “inexperienced gardener” that has a passion and desire to learn as much as she can about it. Shannon’s grandfather exposed her to gardening while she was growing up. Her previous home only allowed for her to grow herbs, but Shannon’s herbs grew and grew which helped her give the herbs to others around her. Shannon’s daughter was an event that created a desire within herself to start gardening. Shannon wants to teach her daughter health and love for the great earth that gives life. Shannon is also working towards becoming licensed in yoga to be able to teach it to the community. Some vegetables that she would like to have in her garden are a few stalks of corn, beans, tomatoes (as she said, you can’t go through summers without them), and possibly a few root vegetables like potatoes.
