A native of Indianapolis, Vickie Daniel, is a nationally acclaimed vocal stylist, and musical curator. She regularly performs and lectures using music, jazz-poetry, books, and film to spread her message of empowerment to both children and adults. Vickie is also an actress, writer, director, creativity coach, and health and wellness advocate (including over 35 years of experience as a registered nurse).
Vickie is an Indiana Jazz Legend, the official Madam C. J. Walker Reenactress, the proud recipient of A Breakthrough Woman Award from the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., and the Achievement in Arts/Music/Theatre Award from the Center for Leadership Development.
Vickie writes, “As a proud voice from historic Indiana Avenue, I have performed with and met some of the greatest musicians in the city of Indianapolis. My community has given great music to this world and I want to continue that legacy.”
