Today is known as “Good Shepherd Sunday” and today we will explore a passage from the Gospel of John where Jesus says that he is both the Shepherd and also the Gate to the sheep pen.  Jesus reminds us that many voices try to rob us of good pasture with false claims of comfort and power, but his followers know his voice and truly find the safety, comfort, and community –the good pasture they seek.
