3rd Sunday of Easter

Today we discussed the risen Christ's encounter with two followers on the road to Emmaus. They did not recognize him on the road (even though their hearts burned as he interpreted Scripture to them) until they broke bread together. We shared with one another testimonies of when we we were surprised by our encounters with Jesus.
